Viruxa Studio is a product of Brainybolt, India ("we"). These are the terms on which you may download it, run it and buy a licence for it. By downloading, running or paying for Viruxa Studio you agree to them.
Viruxa Studio is desktop software for Windows, macOS and Linux that scans code, dependencies, configuration and machines for security problems and bugs, and watches for attacks. It runs on your computer. Downloading it is free, and one whole scan is free with every finding shown.
A licence unlocks unlimited scans and the paid features for a fixed period — one day, 28 days or 84 days, as the plan says — for the number of projects at a time the plan allows. Plans and prices are listed on the pricing section and in the app, in Indian rupees, and are charged once. Nothing renews by itself.
Only what you own, or have written permission to test. Scanning, auditing or monitoring code, servers, networks or websites that belong to somebody else without their permission may be illegal, and it is not permitted under these terms. You are responsible for having that permission. Some features refuse to run until control of the target has been proved; that is a safeguard, not a transfer of your responsibility.
We will do our best to keep Viruxa Studio working and accurate, and to fix what is reported to us. But no scanner can prove that a system is secure: a scan that found nothing has checked what it knows how to check, which is not the same as there being nothing there. Viruxa Studio is therefore provided "as is", without any warranty that it will find every problem or that its findings are complete.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected with Viruxa Studio is limited to the amount you paid for the licence the claim concerns, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits, lost data or the cost of a security incident.
Payments are processed by Razorpay; we never see your card or bank details. Refunds are covered by the refund and cancellation policy, and how the licence reaches you by the delivery policy.
The privacy page describes exactly what the software sends and keeps. In short: your code stays on your machine.
You may stop using Viruxa Studio at any time. If a licence is used in a way these terms do not permit — shared publicly, or pointed at systems without permission — we may decline to reissue or extend it.
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them; a licence already bought keeps the terms it was bought under until it ends. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India.
